Carbon Tax Dividend

Before July 1 of this year, (2008), the BC government will be sending each person living in BC a $100 cheque. This will hopefully slow the adrenalin before the carbon tax is added to all fuels, including heating, gasoline and diesel. Is there a way to put that one hundred dollars to the best use? I believe there are options that are better than others but here's my list of possibilities. Some fit into the extreme category, I might add, and would not totally recommend them.
1.) Start a $100 RRSP and forget about it.
2.) If your  city bylaws allow it,  stock-up with a few jerry cans in the back yard shed.
3.) Use an after-market gadget to  reduce fuel consumption.  (Here's some potential controversy so be careful what you do).
4.)  Use synthetic motor lubricants and other related and applicable synthetic lubricants. (Here's there's no disputing that synthetics     reduce emissions, operation and maintenance expenses. ) For approximately $100, give or take  ten or twenty dollars, you can use product options from www.lubedealer.com/hiebert that will  make the best use of that $100, in my opinion.
5.) Donate the $100 to the Green Party and get a tax deductible receipt.
